After indulging myself with far too many wedding goodies I got the other day, I tuned my radar back on health mode. I popped into Fabindia and bought myself some 'Tulsi Green Tea' I've been yearning for.

"Tulsi" (Holy Basil) is known for its stress relieving and calming properties. It has been revered in India for over 5000 years as a healing balm for the body, mind and spirit. I'm sure we all know that Green tea has potent fat burning properties and the combination of "Tulsi" with Green Tea promote healthy metabolism. Both are are known to be rich and abundant in antioxidants which have a vast array of remarkable health benefits- reduces stress, boosts stamina and energy, helps fight colds and coughs, helps in slimming and weight management.

I got happier when I read the label and found it to be 100% certified organic.

It's calming, soothing and slimming. Sure sounds good to me! :)

P.S. Now I love my chocolate and am liking my green tea, but tying the two together? What were they thinking? I'll pass....what about you Shrek?

In India, when you get sent a wedding invitation card, it's usually accompanied with a box of "mithai"(Indian sweets). I on the other hand, am not a "mithai" person. I don't know how many of my fellow Indians are going to hate me for saying this :s but, I find Indian sweets to be waaaay too sweet. A couple of bites and one usually experiences a sugar rush that can go on for 72 hrs! I'm a cake, chocolates, cupcakes, chocolate cookies, macaroons kind of gal :)

However, I was recently invited to a wedding and this is what I got along with the card,

The Roksanda Ilincic jacket initially worn by Anna Dell Russo is seen worn by Aishwarya Rai for the cover of Vogue India February 2011. The exaggerated shoulders are made from raven black feathers. This jacket alludes such dark mystery. love it!

I heart Elie

I absolutely love Elie Saab's Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Whenever I see his creations, I can't think of one thing I wouldn't like to wear. His work is so elegant, feminine and glamorous! His Spring/Summer 2011 collection has me swayed. I love the beautiful dresses and gowns and the gorgeous soft, juicy spring colors they come in. So romantic. So dreamy. It's such a visual treat during these cold winter months. Sigh....how I wished I owned a few pieces!

Some of my favorite looks from this collection in luscious shades of champagne pink, easy orange, salmon, olive tones, soft grey, shimmer, light blue, nude and white.

Haute cuisine, Cuisine couture or Fashion meets food. Gotta Love it!

Although, it's known that Karl Lagerfield often dictates a size zero image for his muse and models which I'm not too happy about, I must say, the man can make McDonald's look sexy!

How gorgeous are these cakes and cupcakes? I don't think I could ever eat them. They're just too pretty to be gobbled up.

The high fashion logo lollipops are designed by Massimo Gammacurta. They come in different flavors including watermelon, pomegranate, wild cherry, apple and caramel. What a Genius!

I found these soda brands converted into jewelery so interesting. They are available on Etsy with the name 'funky junq'. I seriously wouldn't mind owning a few.

He may not be fashionable, but boy do I love this guy ;) (Spongebob). My birthday cake last year! And yes, I'm 5! :D

Seeing these pictures is giving me a serious craving for ....food.....no wait.....shopping...no...umm.....uhh food...hmmm shopping?

Oh Mickey you so fine!

Oh Mickey you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind! Hurray for Mickey! I've been so excited for the Mac Mickey Contractor collection that I can actually visualize myself dancing with pom poms and belting out this 80's tune! :D The neutral colors and the collection's association with my home country makes me want to go that extra mile to check it out and buy some lust worthy products.

Mickey Contractor is Mac's Director of Makeup Artistry for India. He is the man behind the gorgeous faces of Bollywood actresses and has literally changed the face of Bollywood.
