A festival of colors celebrated by Hindus to end the Winter season and welcome Spring with color, sweets, music, dance and festivity. The celebrations are crazy fun with beautiful bright colored powders being applied and thrown on everyone, to eating Indian sweets, meeting friends and family, dancing and singing (often intoxicated ;)
