Some of my recent essential makeup/makeup products purchases. I really love each product mentioned here. Do give them a try if you'd like. I'd say they are all worth it!

Lancome Angled powder brush- First time buy. It's so beautiful. Sleek, glossy and so comfortable to use, the bristles are super super soft with a wonderful application. My new found love!

Lancome Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara- I have fairly long lashes so I need thicker, fuller lush lashes. This mascara does wonders! Favorite mascara at the moment

Lancôme 'Bi-Facil' Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover- Removes every inch of makeup. I've got very sensitive eyes and this product is absolutely wonderful. No sting, no burn, just clean goop free eyes!

Mac Select Sheer Pressed Powder- Have been using this for years, sometimes alternating with Clinique's stay-matte sheer pressed powder. The Mac pressed powder is light, smooth and gives me a perfect finish. I'm now keen on buying Mac MSF Natural.

Oh Mickey you so fine!

Oh Mickey you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind! Hurray for Mickey! I've been so excited for the Mac Mickey Contractor collection that I can actually visualize myself dancing with pom poms and belting out this 80's tune! :D The neutral colors and the collection's association with my home country makes me want to go that extra mile to check it out and buy some lust worthy products.

Mickey Contractor is Mac's Director of Makeup Artistry for India. He is the man behind the gorgeous faces of Bollywood actresses and has literally changed the face of Bollywood.

I love Gossip girl! I know it's super teenage-y and borders on over hyped drama, but I've been hooked on it since it started. I love the clothes especially Blair's, Lily's exquisite jewelery , Blair & Chuck at war and Dan. (Though I absolutely love Blair and Chuck, I sometimes feel Blair and Dan would make for such an interesting couple).

I loved the first season with their quirky twists to their school uniforms. Plaids, argyle, preppy, big bags, gray, red lips, thigh high socks, over the knee boots and lace up boots were big this winter and it's fun to harness a bit of a Gossip Girl school look to your every day outfits! I created a set from Polyvore as an ode to Gossip Girl's first season...just for fun! :)
